This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before heading off, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, took the opportunity to share valuable insights into the features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game. These updates not only address the community's wishes but also provide a glimpse into the extent to which these features will be implemented.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to utilize real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting their unique zois. This feature, which was already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further simplified, as emphasized by Kjun. The goal is to make the process of creating zois even more user-friendly and accessible to all players.

Another much-anticipated feature is the inclusion of pets within the game. While this feature won't be available during the early access phase, fans can look forward to having their own virtual companions in the near future. Kjun, being an avid animal lover himself, is particularly excited about this addition.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. Although the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions, this limitation has been put in place to address potential performance issues and ensure a smooth gaming experience for all players.

Additionally, the game will introduce gas stations and combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic from early previews felt too simplistic to players. Responding to this feedback, the developers have decided to enhance the combat system to include full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, adding a new layer of depth and engagement to the gameplay.

Lastly, InZOI will feature a comprehensive tutorial, reflecting the developers' anticipation of attracting many newcomers to the genre. This thoughtful inclusion demonstrates their commitment to ensuring that all players, regardless of their familiarity with similar games, can enjoy InZOI to its fullest.

As of now, Krafton is on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently expected. Fans of the game can look forward to these exciting new features and continue to stay engaged with the community for more updates.
