Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an engaging real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that delivers intense player-versus-player (PvP) competition. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in fierce battles. The game offers extensive control over units and buildings, providing players with a high degree of freedom to strategize and command.

Main Elements:

WOE immerses players in the medieval era, featuring 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and one unique unit. While the regular units are uniform across all Empires, each has its distinct unique unit, such as Riders in Mongolia, War Elephants in Persia, and Conquistadors in Spain.

The regular units consist of:

  1. Swordsman: A staple unit commonly found across all Empires.
  2. Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but susceptible to arrows.
  3. Archers: Vulnerable to Cavalry but advantageous against Pikemen.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for their speed and mobility, ideal for harassing enemy forces.
  5. Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.

Buildings in WOE include Towers, Turrets, Castles, and blacksmith shops. Towers serve primarily for offensive purposes and can fire six arrows simultaneously when manned by five farmers. Turrets, on the other hand, are designed to demolish enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. For detailed insights, players can explore the in-game introductions. Here's a brief overview:

  1. Huns: No need to construct houses, saving time. Cavalry requires 20% fewer resources and can be upgraded to Rangers.
  2. Teutonic: Boasts powerful warriors reminiscent of historical Spartans, though they suffer from slower movement.

Highlights:

The core of WOE's gameplay revolves around three simultaneous objectives after starting a match:

  1. Develop Economy: Maximize farmer production and resource gathering, utilizing Town Centers (TC) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harass Enemies: Deploy small units early to disrupt enemy farmers, gaining an initial advantage.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Engage and defeat opposing forces.

Cooperation is key; players should form legions with allies to overcome numerically superior enemy forces and safeguard units with low health but high damage output. Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork is crucial:

  • Pikemen counter Cavalry.
  • Cavalry counter Archers.
  • Archers counter Pikemen.
  • Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry.
  • Koryo Carriages counter all ranged units.

Game Modes:

WOE features two primary resources: Food and Gold. As the game progresses, players can advance their Town Center (TC) through different eras, from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras, unlocking new technologies and units along the way.

To accommodate different play styles, WOE offers four game modes, with the most popular being:

  1. Normal Mode: Characterized by limited resources, emphasizing early development and strategic harassment.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Players start in the emperor era with ample resources, enabling immediate and intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been operational for four years in China and upgraded to version 1.8.n, WOE offers a robust set of features:

  1. Player vs. CPU matches.
  2. Network play for online competition.
  3. Spectator mode for observing games.
  4. Replay functionality to review matches.
  5. Map creation tools for custom gameplay.
  6. Legion formation for cooperative play.
  7. Friend system to connect with other players.
  8. Chat feature for in-game communication.

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) offers a rich and strategic gaming experience, blending historical elements with competitive real-time strategy gameplay. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or a newcomer to RTS games, WOE provides a challenging and rewarding environment to test your skills.
