Tekken's Harada Explores New Industry Connections via LinkedIn

Rumors of Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken director, leaving Bandai Namco after a 30-year tenure, have surfaced following a LinkedIn post. A screenshot shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Genki_JPN showed Harada's profile indicating he's "#OpenToWork," seeking roles such as Executive Producer, Game Director, Business Development, Vice President, or Marketing positions based in Tokyo. This sparked immediate fan concern.

However, Harada swiftly addressed the speculation on X, reassuring fans that he isn't leaving Bandai Namco. He clarified that his LinkedIn activity is simply a means of expanding his professional network and exploring new collaborations within the industry. He stated his desire to connect with more individuals and broaden his perspectives.

This news comes on the heels of Tekken 8's successful collaboration with Final Fantasy 16, adding Clive Rosfield as a playable character and offering additional FF16-themed content. Harada's expanded network may lead to even more exciting collaborations and innovative ideas for the Tekken franchise in the future.
