Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the world's best players are set, let's examine their character choices, offering a glimpse into Street Fighter 6's competitive landscape.

Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used characters at the highest level of play. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 characters saw representation, though from nearly two hundred players (across eight regional finalists from 24 regions), only one chose Ryu. Even the newest addition, Terry Bogard, was selected by only two competitors.

Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each the primary character for 17 players. A significant gap follows, with Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each) forming the next tier. Among the less frequently chosen characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main by seven players.

Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled for March in Tokyo, with a grand prize of one million dollars awaiting the champion.
