Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch of Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' scheduled for release on April 23rd. This update promises to conclude the thrilling narrative of Season 1.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will unravel the enigma surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, known as Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo’s fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to the scene.

Joining Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territories to pursue the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will confront her past, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully maneuvers with a parasol and rapier, dealing significant Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters’ EX Special Attacks.

Hugo, the second new character, is an Ice Attack Agent wielding a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger a Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Robin, the agile Bangboo partner of Mockingbird, joins the fray with cards that produce random effects. Additionally, Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, will have their banners rerun in Version 1.7.

Version 1.7 also introduces new events to Zenless Zone Zero. 'Say It With Flowers' lets players manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
