In the world of video games, dogs are not just pets; they're invaluable allies. In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, Henry's loyal companion, Mutt, goes missing early in the story, but don't worry—here's how to reunite with him.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location

Finding Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* involves a dedicated side quest, but I'll cut to the chase to save you some time. Mutt is located near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp and just east of the river's bathing spot. Check out the screenshot below for his exact location.

To reach Mutt, fast travel to the Nomads' Camp, then head southwest into the forest. Following this route will likely take you directly to the top of the cave. As you get closer, listen for Mutt's whines, which will guide you to him. You'll find him in a clearing near the cave, surrounded by wolves.

Approaching Mutt will trigger a cutscene where you'll encounter the wolves and receive a tutorial on commanding Mutt in battle. You have the option to fight the wolves or flee. Since wolves and other wild animals in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* are relatively easy to defeat, fighting them can be a great opportunity to level up your skills.

Once you've dealt with the wolves, Mutt will be under your command. You can interact with him by holding L1 while looking at him, allowing you to feed him from your inventory or send him back to your home.

Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest

It's worth noting that you're likely to come across the wolf cave during the Invaders side quest, especially if you choose to interact with the Cumans. After getting drunk with them, Henry will follow Vasko up a hill to fetch more liquor, leading directly to the cave. This will trigger the same cutscene with Mutt and the wolves, but you'll have to handle it while intoxicated.

For the best outcome, I recommend dealing with the wolves during the day and rescuing Mutt before progressing further with the Invaders quest. Navigating the wolves while drunk and in the dark can be extremely challenging, and attempting to flee might result in a fatal fall due to poor visibility.

That's all you need to know to find Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, make sure to check out The Escapist.
