Eerie Worlds: A Tactical CCG Featuring Global Folklore Monsters

Rifts are rarely good news in gaming, but Avid Games embraces the chaos in its highly anticipated game, Eerie Worlds, the successor to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This tactical CCG shifts the focus to monsters emerging from these rifts, offering a unique blend of fun and learning.

Avid Games has assembled a visually stunning roster of monsters, each inspired by real-world mythological and folkloric horrors.

The game boasts an impressively diverse collection, encompassing creatures from various cultures. Encounter Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake, and Slavic monsters such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others, both terrifying and intriguing, are represented. Each card includes detailed, researched descriptions, enhancing the gameplay experience with educational elements.

Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, creating complex strategic depth. Monsters may share some properties but differ in others, leading to diverse tactical possibilities.

Your monster collection, the Grimoire, is upgraded by merging duplicate cards. While starting with 160 basic cards, merging unlocks many more, with additional cards planned for release soon.

Avid Games has confirmed the addition of two more Hordes in the coming months, ensuring sustained gameplay engagement and strategic evolution.

Gameplay involves constructing a deck of nine monster cards and one world card. Battles unfold over nine 30-second turns, demanding strategic decisions regarding mana usage, synergy exploitation, and more.

Prepare for a challenging and rewarding experience. Eerie Worlds is currently available for free on the Google Play Store and the App Store. Download it now!
