This guide details how to initiate and complete the bonus quest, "The Lion's Crest," available to players who pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest rewards players with valuable items.

Starting the Quest:

Once you've finished the tutorial and gained access to the open world, locate the scribe Gaibl in Troskowitz. He will provide you with a riddle and the smithing recipe for Brunswick's polearm. You'll need to gather the necessary materials yourself, then craft the weapon at a blacksmith's forge.

Solving the Riddle:

The riddle, "Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits...", leads you on a treasure hunt. The "crone and maiden" refers to towers within Trosky Castle. Exit the castle via the northern gates and head north.

Following the path north through the forest, you'll encounter rocky formations with crevices. Traverse these to discover a cave containing a chapel. Examine the cross near the rock to find the first piece of Brunswick's armor and two treasure maps.

Treasure Map Locations:

• Map 1: Continue west on the road from the chapel to a crossroads. Head north into the woods to find a wolf den; the armor is in a bag near the trees above the den.

• Map 2: Travel to the Vidlak Pond outpost. Behind the fisherman's house, search the large rock formation along the cliffs for a chest near a cross.

• Map 3: Fast travel to Zhelejov. Leave the tavern and cross two bridges towards Tachov. After the second bridge, take a small path towards the river and forest. Find a hill and examine the large tree at the top for bones and a bag containing armor.

• Map 4: The final map leads to a hill between the Nomads' Camp and Bozhena's Hut. Look for rocks with a cross on top to find the final piece of Brunswick's armor.
