Pokémon Go’s Small Yet Strong event brings your favourite tiny Pokémon to the forefront

The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is here! From February 5th to 8th, trainers have a boosted chance to catch unusually sized Pokémon – XXS and XXL – and encounter the Shiny Nymble for the first time. Double XP for catching Pokémon is also in effect, making this event a great opportunity to level up and prepare for the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour – Unova.

This event features increased wild spawns of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Regional variations of Flabébé (Red, Blue, Yellow, with a chance for White or Orange) will also appear. For a challenging raid experience, Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme) will be in Five-Star Raids, while Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar dominate Mega Raids. Shiny Pokémon may appear in both raids and wild encounters.

2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks will reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't miss the event-exclusive Timed Research and Collection Challenge for Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. PokéStop Showcases will also feature event Pokémon.
