Images purportedly from Sega's highly anticipated Jet Set Radio remake have emerged online, igniting excitement among fans. According to these leaks, Sega plans to release both a reboot (a live-service title with live events and customization) and a separate remake. Twitter user MSKAZZY69, citing Midori as their source, shared four screenshots allegedly from the remake's development build. These images, including a map and gameplay shots, depict a seemingly "open-world remake," a detail previously hinted at by Midori. This open-world design will reportedly incorporate graffiti, shooting mechanics, and expanded exploration of Tokyo, featuring a new storyline.

Further fueling the speculation, a YouTube video showcasing alleged gameplay footage has surfaced. The video's art style and graphics align with the leaked screenshots, displaying updated, more realistic character models and environments. The footage depicts protagonist Beat engaging in graffiti art, executing skating maneuvers, and traversing various Tokyo locations.

Despite the buzz generated by these leaks, Sega remains officially silent. The authenticity of the leaked materials remains uncertain, given Midori's absence from social media. While the remake is expected to launch no earlier than 2026, the leaked images and video have successfully generated considerable anticipation for Sega's revival plans, which also reportedly include remakes of other classic games like Alex Kidd and House of the Dead.
