Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era

You begin your journey in Hollow Era as a Soul Spirit. At this point, you face a pivotal choice: to become a Shinigami or a Hollow. Opting for the Hollow path involves breaking all the links on your chain, which will transform you into a Hollow. Notably, your chain naturally deteriorates, with one link breaking every two minutes, ensuring you'll turn into a Hollow even if you take no action.

Warning: Embracing the Hollow life can feel monotonous compared to the dynamic experience of playing as a Shinigami. While Hollows boast a cool factor, advancing requires extensive grinding and repetitive kills. Prepare for a long haul if you aim to ascend to the ranks of Vasto Lorde or Espada.

Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era

Your first major milestone is evolving into a Gillian. This involves grinding by eliminating and consuming other Hollows. You can evolve at level 15, but reaching level 10 unlocks a Garganta gateway to Hueco Mundo, simplifying the task of finding and defeating Hollows.

Gillian Form in the Hollow Era

As a Gillian, your primary goal is to continue eliminating Hollows and engage with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulating enough Progression Points will teleport you to your inner world, where you must defeat five formidable Hollows. Repeat this process three times to evolve into an Adjucha.

These inner world Hollows are tougher than their regular counterparts, but don't fear death; you can retry as many times as needed.

Adjucha Form in the Hollow Era

Reaching Adjucha status marks a significant advancement. Here, you choose between progressing as a Vasto Lorde or Arrancar. Let's explore the Arrancar path first.

Arrancar Progression

To become an Arrancar, you must interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo, which spawns every 30 to 60 minutes (average 45 minutes). Upon contact, you'll transform into an Arrancar, gaining access to Hueco Mundo via a keybind. Here's the list of all Arrancar Ressurections in Hollow Era.

At level 50, you can pursue your Resurrección, but initially, Arrancars can only utilize Kendo skills. We anticipate more skills being added soon.

Vasto Lorde Progression

Choosing to evolve into a Vasto Lorde requires continued elimination and consumption of Hollows to earn Progression Points. Be cautious, as death results in a 1% loss of these points. Many players get stuck at Adjucha due to the grind; to become a Vasto Lorde, you need 800 Progression Points, earned as follows:

Vasto Lorde Form in the Hollow Era

Evolving into a Vasto Lorde is more challenging than becoming an Arrancar. You must gather 800 race Progression Points and collect all Hollow Items, which have random drop rates. Here's a list of Hollow Items and their sources:

Becoming Espada in the Hollow Era

If you choose the Vasto Lorde path, your next step is to evolve into an Espada. The process mirrors becoming an Arrancar: head to Hueco Mundo, find a Crystal Bush, and interact with it to become an Espada.

To spot Crystal Bushes easily, disable Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field in your settings, then survey the area from a high vantage point.

How to Get Your Resurrección

As an Arrancar or Espada, your ultimate goal is to obtain your Resurrección. First, reach level 50, then visit Hueco Mundo and speak with Isen, the King of Hueco Mundo.

Isen assigns you the task of defeating 50 Arrancars. Upon completion, you can activate your Resurrección when your Rage Bar is fully charged and pulsating. Fill your Rage Bar by dealing or receiving damage. The default keybind for Resurrección is “Y”, and it deactivates when you run out of Reiatsu or Rage.
