Unlocking Ochkanatlan and Exploring its Tower in Genshin Impact
Ochkanatlan, a cursed land in Genshin Impact, presents players with challenges from Och-Kan while accompanying Bona on her quest for the Jade of Return. To begin this journey, Travelers must first access the region north of the Flower-Feather Clan by unlocking the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven.
Unlocking the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven
To unlock the Statue of the Seven:
- Teleport to the Flower-Feather Clan's northern waypoint.
- Transform into a Qucusaurus.
- Fly north towards the tower.
- Position yourself on the tower's southeast side.
- Enter the Phlogiston Wind Tunnel as a Qucusaurus.
- Fly towards the open window at the tower's peak.
- Release your Qucusaurus transformation.
- Enter the tower.
- Ascend the stairs.
- Activate the mechanism at the top of the stairs.
- Await the cutscene's completion.
- Interact with the Statue of the Seven to unlock it as a waypoint.
This unlocks all waypoint locations on the map and initiates the "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest.
Exploring the Vucub Caquix Tower
The "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest requires exploration of the Vucub Caquix Tower:
- Locate the Vucub Caquix Tower north of the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven.
- Climb the stairs and enter the tower.
- Transform into an Iktomisaurus.
- Use the Iktomisaurus's ability to scan the Nightspirit Graffiti on the wall, removing a blue block.
- Activate the lever to remove a barrier.
- Descend to the lower floor and proceed to the northwestern room.
- Activate the lift.
- Use the Iktomisaurus's skill to scan the Nightspirit Graffiti in the room beyond the lift.
- Position the block under the obstructed door.
- Retrieve the Common Chest.
- Proceed past the gate.
- Scan the Nightspirit Graffiti within the area.
- Place the block beneath the opened gate.
- Operate the lever.
- Continue beyond the gates.
Upon completion, a cutscene unfolds, showcasing Bona's search for Cocouik, a mysterious companion capable of neutralizing the Abyss's corrosive effects.
