Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, featuring the groundbreaking DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation (MFG). This technology, initially exclusive to the RTX 50 series, promises significant FPS boosts in 75 supported games and applications. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Marvel Rivals will benefit from this performance enhancement.

The RTX 50 series, codenamed Blackwell, builds upon the Ada Lovelace architecture with advancements in DLSS. MFG, a key feature, delivers faster FPS increases compared to its predecessor. The flagship RTX 5090, boasting 32GB of GDDR7 memory, carries a starting MSRP of $1,999. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549).

Nvidia demonstrated the impact of DLSS 4 and MFG using Cyberpunk 2077. With ray tracing enabled and DLSS/MFG disabled, the game struggled to maintain 30 FPS on the RTX 5090. Activating DLSS 4 and MFG resulted in a remarkable jump to 236 FPS.
