Lawnchair Legacy is a mature, feature-complete iteration of Lawnchair, rooted in the Launcher3 framework from Android 9. This version is now in maintenance mode, with updates limited to critical fixes related to the Play Store and security enhancements.

Lawnchair utilizes the AccessibilityService permission to enhance certain system functions, such as desktop gestures for actions like turning off the screen. The app will prompt you to enable this service only if it's necessary for your specific configuration. Rest assured, no data is collected through the AccessibilityService; it simply facilitates system actions.

Additionally, Lawnchair employs the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen upon detecting a designated gesture. This feature is optional and comes disabled by default, allowing you to tailor your experience.
