Ultimate Texas Holdem (UTH) is a thrilling casino poker game that pits you directly against the dealer, much like the classic game of Blackjack. It's a popular choice at casino tables, where the quality of your hand directly influences your payouts. With better hands, you can expect higher rewards. UTH offers an engaging offline experience, allowing you to repeat bets, including the Trips bet, and enjoy a streamlined, quick-play mode perfect for honing your strategy. Running low on funds? No worries! You can spin The Wheel* to earn bonus chips, though this feature requires an internet connection.
The game is played using a standard 52-card deck. To start, you place equal bets on Ante and Blind. There's also an optional Trips bet, which pays out only when you achieve specific hands. The dealer then deals two cards to you and two to themselves, with you getting a peek at your own cards. At this point, you have the option to either check or make a Play bet, which can be three or four times your Ante bet.
Next, the dealer reveals three community cards. If you checked earlier, you can now place a Play bet that's double your original Ante bet or check again. If you've already bet, you simply wait. After this, the dealer turns over the final two community cards. If you've checked twice, you must now either make a Play bet equal to your Ante bet or fold, losing both your Ante and Blind bets if you choose the latter.
In UTH, both you and the dealer aim to create the best possible five-card hand using a combination of your hole cards and the community cards. The dealer needs at least a pair to qualify. Once the hands are compared, the Blind, Ante, and Play bets are settled according to the game's rules. If you win and the dealer qualifies, all three bets are paid out. If the dealer doesn't qualify, your Ante bet is returned. Should the dealer win, you lose all bets except for the Trips bet. In the event of a tie, all bets are returned to you.
