Zenless Zone Zero Is Dropping Version 1.6 ‘Among the Forgotten Ruins’ Soon

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th. Prepare for chaos in New Eridu! This update significantly expands the storyline and introduces compelling new characters.

What's Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

Version 1.6 throws Proxies into a thrilling auction orchestrated by the Mayor, centered around a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. This high-stakes event attracts unwanted attention from the Mockingbird phantom thief syndicate, who aim to disrupt the Mayor's plans. Other factions also vie for control of the artifact, adding layers of intrigue. Furthermore, Hugo and Vivian's suspicious behavior leaves players questioning their allegiances. Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, a powerful S-Rank Electric Attack Agent wielding dual swords. Formerly known as Soldier 0, leader of Silver Squad, she’s a formidable addition to the roster. Joining her is Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. She utilizes Sniper Mode to evade attacks, deliver precise shots, and set up teammates for Quick Assists.

Character Returns and New Challenges

Several fan-favorite characters are making a comeback, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all returning in rerun banners. Geppetto emerges as the latest boss in Hollow Zero.

Version 1.6 also ups the ante with Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, testing players' mettle. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, introduces dynamic stage effects, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.

Additional gameplay modes include Trigger's TV Schedule, offering third-person sniper missions, and "March On, Tiny Titan!", letting players control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges. "Little Knight's Big Charge" guides a Bangboo through ten trials, rewarding players with Pulchra as a playable agent.
