Free Fire's Winterlands Festival Returns with Aurora!

Free Fire ignites the winter season with the return of its Winterlands festival, featuring the dazzling Aurora. This year's event boasts a host of exciting additions, including the new character Koda, Frosty Tracks, and an enchanting aurora transforming the game world into a winter wonderland.

Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind

Koda, the newest Free Fire character, hails from a technologically advanced arctic region. His unique ability, Aurora Vision, grants him enhanced speed and the power to spot enemies concealed behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy positions while parachuting. Koda's backstory is equally captivating, involving a mystical fox mask discovered under an aurora and a bond with snow foxes, skills he now brings to the battlefield.

Aurora Transforms the Gameplay

The aurora theme dominates this year's Winterlands. Bermuda is bathed in an aurora-filled sky, complemented by a dynamic Aurora Forecast system. This weather predictor influences gameplay, providing buffs based on the forecast that can dramatically shift the tide of battle.

Frosty Tracks: Icy Adventures

Introducing Frosty Tracks—icy pathways traversable in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Players can skate across locations like Bermuda's Festival Clock Tower and Factory, while maintaining the ability to engage in combat. Special Coin Machines located along these tracks offer a reward of 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find these frosty highways in areas such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

Random Aurora Events and Friend Challenges

Battle Royale players can discover aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players will encounter Supply Gadgets imbued with the magical aurora. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and provides squad buffs.

Winterlands: Aurora also adds a fun social element. When playing with friends, they appear as adorable snowballs on the event interface, creating a shared winter experience. Completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
