"Warriors: Abyss Launches Today as a Roguelite Game"

Hot off the heels of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, another exciting title from Koei Tecmo has hit the market today, introducing a fresh twist to the beloved musou genre. *Warriors: Abyss* is a captivating new roguelite that brings together the iconic characters from the *Warriors* series, and it's available starting today.

Unveiled during the PlayStation State of Play, *Warriors: Abyss* allows players to form a squad of characters and cut through endless waves of enemies. The game features an isometric camera view, drawing inspiration from both *Diablo* and the Greek mythology-themed roguelite, *Hades*.

In *Warriors: Abyss*, players will lead their team through the depths of "hell", battling demonic foes along the journey. Today's footage showcased a variety of characters from the *Warriors* universe, including Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sunshang Xiang.

According to the PlayStation Blog, players can recruit and integrate different characters into their team over time, enabling additional summoning actions. You can deploy up to seven active heroes in combat, with a roster of 100 warriors available at launch today.

Koei Tecmo has plans to continually expand the character lineup, starting with additions from the Jin kingdom in *Dynasty Warriors*. The developer has hinted at more character waves to follow, and even teased the possibility of including characters from outside the *Warriors* series in future updates.

*Warriors: Abyss* is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It's set to launch on Nintendo Switch on February 13, 2025. For those interested in an exclusive in-game *Dynasty Warriors* Costume Set, be sure to purchase the game before March 14, 2025.
