The developers will provide detailed quarterly updates and patch notes, ensuring that planned enhancements are implemented and live in-game. Following the Q1 updates, which addressed significant issues and introduced numerous hotfixes, GSC Gameworld continues to refine the game based on player feedback. Beta Mod SDK Kit, A-Life Updates, and More

GSC Gameworld has outlined several key updates, focusing particularly on the Beta Mod SDK Kit and further enhancements to the A-Life system. They plan to launch a closed beta for mod makers to test the ModKit before its official release, with integration planned for Mod.io and Steam Workshop.

The A-Life System will see continued improvements, focusing on enhancing NPC AI and simulation. After delivering a substantial 110 GB update for the Christmas patch, the developers are set to introduce "persistent A-Life improvements" and "smarter human combat; better cover/flanking use, limited grenades."

Updates will also extend to mutants, which will now consume corpses and respond to threats. Additional features include the introduction of mutant loot, the ability to skip shader compilation, an expanded player stash window, support for wide screen aspect ratios, two new weapons, and ongoing efforts towards stabilization and optimization.
