Spider-Man 2 Suit Swings to Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected collaboration: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is joining the game as a new skin!

PlayStation made the announcement via a recent X/Twitter post, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter.

This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol sets it apart. This Marvel Rivals addition marks a surprising partnership between Sony and their console-exclusive superhero title. Get ready to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. This Spidey suit, however, stands out. Beyond its connection to the popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice of Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy and also lends his voice to Marvel Rivals' version of the character. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will find a familiar and comfortable experience.

NetEase's inclusion of Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 provides players with another exciting addition to the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls content released last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
