The developers are significantly overhauling aspects of the original Oblivion, including ensuring "unique items are actually unique" and enhancing boss encounters, specifically mentioning Mannimarco. The stream showcased the "A Brush with Death" quest, highlighting the impressive visual fidelity.

This impressive fan effort comes amidst rumors of an official Oblivion remake. Details of a potential official remake surfaced earlier this year, suggesting combat overhauls and other changes. While Microsoft has remained silent, the existence of an Oblivion remaster was hinted at in documents from the Activision Blizzard/FTC trial.
