Retro Royale Mode: Clash Royale Revisits the Past

Supercell is turning back the clock with the exciting new Retro Royale Mode in Clash Royale, taking players back to the game's 2017 launch. Available from March 12th to the 26th, this limited-time mode brings a nostalgic experience with a limited pool of 80 cards, offering players a chance to relive the early days of the game while competing for fantastic rewards.

In Retro Royale Mode, you can climb the 30-step Retro Ladder, earning Gold and Season Tokens as you ascend. As the competition intensifies, reaching the Competitive League will assign you a starting rank based on your Trophy Road progress. From there, it's all about showcasing your skills and climbing the leaderboard to demonstrate your timeless talents in this retro setting.

While I recently highlighted Supercell's efforts to keep their games fresh, the introduction of a retro mode might seem contradictory.
