Remake of Tiny Dangerous Dungeons Revives Classic Mini Metroidvania

Remember the beloved Tiny Dangerous Dungeons from 2015? This bite-sized Metroidvania, known for its engaging platforming, puzzles, and challenges, has returned with a full remake aptly titled Tiny Dangerous Dungeons Remake. Now, a decade later, fans can dive back into the world of Timmy the Tiny Treasure Hunter, who isn't done exploring yet.

Timmy the Tiny Treasure Hunter Isn’t Done Exploring Yet

Tiny Dangerous Dungeons Remake has been meticulously rebuilt from the ground up. The original's sepia-toned graphics have been replaced with a much more vibrant and colorful world, yet it still honors its retro roots. Alongside the visual overhaul, the physics have been fine-tuned, offering smoother movement and jumping. Players will encounter various challenges, such as platforms blocked by spinning spiky balls and others that are constantly moving.

And There’s Some Extra Content Too

The dungeon in Tiny Dangerous Dungeons Remake is now more than twice the size of the original, packed with treasure chests that hold the key to Timmy's survival. These chests contain new abilities, such as the power to push blocks and reach higher platforms. Scattered throughout the dungeon, statues of a woman holding a glowing red orb serve as checkpoints, saving your progress and restoring your health.

Players will face five new bosses, including a giant mecha-fish and a Frog King, along with a diverse range of enemies from tiny purple bats to wide-eyed frogs. These enemies often move in patterns, requiring strategic timing to navigate safely. The game is also filled with secrets, hidden areas, and mysterious treasures, encouraging players to explore every nook and cranny of the dungeon.
