Pokémon TCG Pocket Adds Trading Feature and New Expansion This Month

If you've been eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming trading feature for Pokémon TCG Pocket, the wait is almost over. The highly anticipated trading feature is set to launch on January 29th, and it's coming alongside a brand-new expansion called Space-Time Smackdown, which will be released the very next day on January 30th.

Trading in Pokémon TCG Pocket is straightforward and mirrors the physical card trading experience. You'll be able to exchange certain rarities of cards with friends, using trade hourglasses and trade tokens. This addition promises to enhance the authenticity of the digital card collecting experience, making it even more engaging for fans.

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion is aptly named and will introduce fan-favorite Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Two new digital booster packs will feature iconic legendary Pokémon, Dialga and Palkia. If legendary Pokémon aren't your thing, you'll be pleased to know that other beloved Pokémon like Lucario, and the Sinnoh starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, will also make their debut. These cards can be obtained through the Wonder Pick feature as well as traditional booster packs.
