Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight in March’s First Community Day

Mark your calendars, trainers! Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the show for the first Community Day of March 2025, happening on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time). During this event, you'll have a higher chance of encountering Shiny Fuecoco as they'll be appearing more frequently on the map.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during or within a week after the event grants it the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Additionally, Skeledirge can learn Torch Song with no time limit, adding even more firepower to your team.

Don't miss out on the Special Background Timed Research, which not only offers an encounter with Fuecoco sporting a Seasonal Special Background but also boosts the Shiny rate for Fuecoco encounters. Complete these tasks by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm (local time).

For those willing to spend a bit, a $2.00 ticket grants access to exclusive Community Day Special Research. This includes encounters with three Fuecoco, all featuring a Seasonal Special Background, along with Battle Pass and Rare Candies. You can even gift this ticket to friends at a Great Friends level or higher.

The Beloved Buddies event, which debuted Dhelmise, comes with a Timed Research offering two distinct paths: one centered around strengthening bonds with your Buddy Pokémon and Team Valor's leader, Candela, and the other focused on catching Pokémon and battling Team GO Rocket's leader, Arlo.

Before choosing your path, you'll earn Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. The Candela path rewards you with Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash. The Arlo path offers the same items, plus a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
