Mobile Debut: Superliminal: A Dreamy Maze Escape

Author: Charlotte Feb 10,2025

Superliminal, the critically acclaimed indie puzzle game, arrives on mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a bizarre, recurring dream using the power of perspective.

This first-person puzzle adventure, launching July 30th on the App Store and Google Play, allows for pre-registration now. Developed by Pillow Castle and published by Noodlecake, Superliminal boasts "Very Positive" Steam reviews and now brings its mind-bending gameplay to mobile, complete with controller support.

The story begins innocently enough: you doze off in front of the TV, only to awaken as an unwitting participant in Dr. Pierce's dream therapy program. Trapped in a recurring dream, you must solve a series of increasingly challenging puzzles to break free.

Guided (somewhat) by the helpful Dr. Glenn Pierce and his less-than-helpful AI assistant, you'll navigate a dream world where perception is key. Gameplay centers around forced perspective; manipulate object sizes, creating platforms, removing obstacles, and cleverly finding your way out of each surreal room. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, requiring you to discover the precise viewing angle for solutions.

Enjoy a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks, after which the game will be priced at $7.99. A free trial is available before committing to the full purchase. For more information, visit Pillow Castle's website or connect with them on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), or YouTube.
