Warhorse Studios has announced forthcoming official mod support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, enabling players to unleash their creativity in medieval Bohemia.
The developer revealed this via a concise Steam post, detailing plans to integrate modding tools through Steamworks. While the post lacks a release date or specifics, it promises players the ability to "create, tweak, and expand" the game's content. Although unofficial mods already exist on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image (below) showcases a potential Henry with an eye-catching zebra mount and a fish-shaped sword.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's recent release has generated significant community interest, making Warhorse's ambitious post-launch plans unsurprising. Beyond Steamworks mod support, three expansions are slated for 2025: "Brushes with Death" (summer), "Legacy of the Forge" (fall), and "Mysteria Ecclesia" (winter). These expansions will further Henry's story, complemented by free updates introducing features like Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
Warhorse's post-launch support for its highly successful sequel is only just beginning. New players can find helpful resources including guides on initial priorities, rapid early-game wealth accumulation, a main quest walkthrough, and comprehensive guides covering activities, side quests, cheat codes, and console commands.
