Hot to Get Tier II/Fine Weapons and Armor in Avowed

Upgrading your weapons in Avowed is crucial for survival. Early game weapons are Common (I), but you'll quickly encounter Level II enemies requiring Fine (II) gear. Here's how to obtain and upgrade to Tier II/Fine weapons and armor:

Upgrading Weapons and Armor:

Gear in Avowed has a Quality level (I, II, etc.), indicated by color and Roman numerals. Common (I) gear is green, Fine (II) is blue. Each quality level has three sub-levels (+1 to +3).

To upgrade from Common (I) to Fine (II):

1. Locate a Party Camp workbench.
2. Upgrade your gear through levels +1, +2, and +3, using the required materials (which vary by gear type).
3. Once at +3, upgrade to Fine (II) using Adra, a rare crystal obtained from quests, merchants, or by dismantling unique items.

Finding and Purchasing Fine (II) Weapons and Armor:

While upgrading is effective, it's resource-intensive. Alternatively:

• Loot: Fine (II) gear occasionally spawns on Level II enemies, particularly Bounties, in Dawnshore early in the game. However, Common gear is less effective against Level II foes.
• Paradis Merchants: After completing the early Dawnshore main quest (defeating the Dreamscourge bear), access Paradis. Two sisters near the Bounty Board sell Fine (II) gear: one (Merlylin) sells magical items, the other sells standard weapons and armor (pictured above).

By combining upgrading and strategic looting/purchasing, you can ensure your character is adequately equipped to face the challenges of Avowed.
