All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds boasts 12 secret achievements. Seven are earned naturally through main story progression. The remaining five, detailed below, require tackling optional objectives:

I Caught a Shooting Star!: Capture a creature in the desert that glows like a shooting star. A Prize Held High: Capture a creature carrying an Ancient Wyvern Coin. A Legacy Restored: Obtain a Rarity 8 Artian Weapon. Seasoned Hunter: Hunt 50 Tempered monsters. Top of the Food Chain: Hunt 50 Apex Predators.

While some achievements are straightforward, others require specific strategies. Let's explore each one:

I Caught a Shooting Star!

At night, in Zone 11 of the Windward Plains, prepare Screamer Pods. Locate a Baunos near gathering spots, use the pods, and capture it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

This achievement can be obtained in various locations; search tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, in Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest, near a small puddle, use your Capture Net on the small golden crab. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature holding an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

A Legacy Restored

High Rank missions unlock the crafting of Artian gear. Rarity 8 weapons and materials require hunting Tempered monsters using Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't confuse Tempered (purple minimap outline) with Frenzied (red outline) monsters. Slaying or capturing Tempered monsters from Chapter 4 onwards (High Rank content) contributes to this achievement.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement targets specific Apex Predators: Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, Jin, and Dahaad.
