Where to Find Rosa’s Book in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (KCD2)

This quest becomes available after completing "Via Argentum" and beginning "Taking French Leave," specifically after assisting the Ruthard family against Vavak.

After helping the Ruthards, speak with Rosa. She'll mention a secret passage into Maleshov, crucial for rescuing Hans. Inquire about the book she needs, promising to retrieve it to initiate "Rosa's Book." This quest is *only* completable during "Taking French Leave." Failing to find the book before leaving with Hans results in quest failure and prevents a potential romance with Rosa.

Upon entering Maleshov, Hans is located in the tallest tower. Use the external stairs to enter. Inside, find another stairwell and a small kitchen; hide there until nearby guards leave the tower.

Sneak upstairs to a room containing Lady Ofka. Knock her out, and collect the keys from her, the podium, and the sword from the chest. Rosa's book is a red volume in a window alcove to the right of the fireplace. Take it, updating your objective to returning it to Rosa.

While there, grab the sword from the chest in the adjacent room; this saves time later when equipping Hans and his unexpected guest. Proceed to the top floor, unlocking the left door to trigger a cutscene.
