Hearthstone Is Releasing Its Next Expansion, The Emerald Dream, Soon

The Emerald Dream, a magical yet perilous realm in Hearthstone, opens its gates on March 25th! This expansion introduces 145 new cards, exciting new mechanics, and powerful new Legendary Wild Gods, promising a thrilling experience for players.

What Awaits in the Emerald Dream?

Ysera's serene realm, the heart of nature magic, faces a grave threat. Players will choose a side: defend its beauty or embrace the encroaching chaos.

The expansion introduces the "Imbue" keyword. For Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans, the World Tree offers its blessings. Playing an Imbue card transforms your Hero Power, growing stronger with each subsequent Imbue card played. Hunters, for example, receive the Blessing of the Wolf. Other classes, however, will find Imbue cards inactive.

Alternatively, for those drawn to darkness, the Old Gods offer "Dark Gifts"—a corrupting keyword tempting Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors. These twisted enhancements synergize with Discover options, allowing the creation of powerful, nightmarish minions. The Emerald Dream expansion features 10 unique Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces the Wild Gods—colossal forces of nature, one for each class. Some have succumbed to corruption, creating a fascinating divide between those defending the Dream and those embracing the Nightmare.
