Mastering Effort Value (EV) Training for Attack in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Whether aiming for Tera Raid victories or conquering the ranked ladder in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, optimized stat distribution is paramount. Top Locations for Attack EV Farming
Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)

A community favorite, this northeastern area (near Team Star's Fighting Crew base) boasts numerous Pokémon yielding solely Attack EVs: Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that not all Pokémon offer pure Attack EV gains; Falinks, for example, provides a mix of Attack and Special Defense EVs. Consistent battling is key for maximizing damage output.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada

For precise EV control, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada, teeming with Paldean Tauros, are ideal. Each Tauros yields 2 EVs; with a Power Bracer, this increases to 10, allowing for quick accumulation and precise EV adjustments by removing the item afterward.
Optimizing EV Training with the Power Bracer
Before embarking on your EV training journey, preparation is crucial! The Power Bracer, purchasable at Delibird Presents in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa (10,000 Pokédollars), provides an additional +8 Attack EVs per defeated Pokémon.

This significantly accelerates training. A Pokémon yielding 1 EV normally gains 9 with the Power Bracer. Even if a Pokémon grants Attack EVs alongside other stats, the Power Bracer adds 8 bonus Attack EVs. While faster methods exist, this is more cost-effective than bulk vitamin purchases.
Best Pokémon for Attack EV Training

Mass outbreaks offer exceptional EV gains, though consistency is unpredictable. Two standout Pokémon facilitate efficient training:
Flamigo

Common near lakes and swamps, Flamigo appear at various levels, suitable even for low-level teams. Southeastern South Province lakes (near Grasswither Shrine) and Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake) are excellent locations, particularly during "Encounter Power: Fighting" bonuses. Note that Casseroya Lake Flamigo are around level 50. Avoid levels 9-20 due to the potential "Detect" ability.
Paldean Tauros

Found in central-western and central-eastern regions, Paldean Tauros usually appear in groups of five, especially with Fighting-type encounter bonuses. South of Levincia is recommended for efficient training. Some possess the "Intimidate" ability, slightly slowing battles.
EV Attack Training Strategies

Both Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent choices, appearing in groups and yielding 2 base Attack EVs (10 with the Power Bracer), requiring only 26 battles to reach the 252 EV cap. Avoid Kantonian Tauros, which only grant 1 Attack EV.
The "Tropical Sandwich" (Every Wich Way) provides the "Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1" bonus, increasing Fighting-type Pokémon encounters.

Kelpsy Berries reduce EVs by 10, allowing for precise EV adjustments if you overshoot your target.

Efficient EV training requires patience and precision. Utilize North Province Area Two for rapid EV gains, equip a Power Bracer, target Flamigo and Paldean Tauros during mass outbreaks, and avoid auto-battles and hindering abilities to maximize efficiency.
