Celebrate Like a Dragon's 20th Anniversary with RGG Studio!
Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a chance to shape the commemoration of the Like a Dragon (LAD) franchise's 20th anniversary, landing in December 2025. A unique fan vote is underway, allowing players to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into official merchandise.

One hundred iconic items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's dragon mask. The winning item, chosen from the daily votes cast between February 8th and March 21st, 2025 (one vote per day), is guaranteed to become a reality within two years. A subsequent survey will then determine the final design.

RGG Studio's December 8th, 2024, announcement hinted at a potential wave of remakes, echoing the 10th-anniversary celebrations that birthed Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. While details remain scarce, the anticipation for significant 20th-anniversary reveals is palpable.

The upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, launching February 20th, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, has revealed its PC specifications. The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, easily accessible to most modern gaming PCs. Steam Deck compatibility is also confirmed.
