How To Complete Master Schindel’s Toys in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Embark on a captivating side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 while progressing through the main storyline in Kuttenberg. Help Master Schindel recover his stolen belongings in the intriguing "Master Schindel's Toys" quest. Locating these items presents a unique challenge, so follow this guide for a smooth completion.

To initiate "Master Schindel's Toys," begin the "Into the Underworld" main mission. This quest leads you to an informant named Goatskin. Investigate by speaking with individuals at the bathhouse, starting with the Bathhouse Madam, then Adam. Adam reveals Goatskin's theft of Master Schindel's items.

Next, locate the elusive Goatskin. He's quite timid, requiring a bit of coaxing. You can either speak with Lousy Mary or follow Udo. Following Udo, a bathhouse customer who appears on the first floor in the evening, is recommended. Follow him discreetly; Goatskin will attempt to rob him in an alley, providing an opportunity for confrontation.

During this encounter, you can acquire a map from Goatskin. If a skill check fails, bribery is an alternative. The map, "Map of Kuttenberg Underground," is found on a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city).

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground using the map is challenging.

For a quicker solution, locate the northern entrance to the underground area (pictured above). Descend the ladder into the dark underground zone (bring a torch!). Consistently turn left at junctions until you reach a barrel at a dead end. A jump down to a lower area may be necessary. The barrel contains Goatskin's stash: a book and an astrolabe.

Retrace your steps to the surface. Find Master Schindel (usually northeastern city during the day). Return the items to complete the quest, earning reputation and rewards. He'll explain the astrolabe and planetary movements.
