This announcement follows a discrepancy with the in-game Battle Pass countdown, which previously indicated a March 20th reset. More details about Season 3 are promised next week, following Call of Duty: Warzone’s 5th anniversary.

Player anticipation is high, fueled by long-standing teases of the Verdansk map's return this spring. A recent in-game shop pop-up hinted at "The Verdansk Collection" arriving March 10th, further strengthening speculation about the map's comeback.

While we await further information next week—likely coinciding with "The Verdansk Collection" reveal—players can still enjoy Season 2's offerings. This season has already delivered five new multiplayer maps, the return of Gun Game mode, new weapons and operators, and a thrilling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
