You can encounter a variety of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens throughout the game. Notably, the stray you avenge in the pre-order DLC quest "Thrown to the Dogs" can also join your League.

Yasuke can further unlock smaller animals by capturing them in paintings. This includes rabbits, fox kits, tanukis, and monkeys. Once documented in the wild, these critters can be added to your Hideout for a touch of wilderness.

Aside from the special pup from "Thrown to the Dogs," you can add multiple instances of any animal to your Hideout. However, there is a limit to the total number of animals you can keep, so plan your menagerie wisely. You can also remove or replace animals at any time through build mode.
