Hez2: A Thrilling Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a beloved Moroccan card game perfect for family gatherings. This classic game, playable with 1 to 4 players, is turn-based and requires strategic card play. The goal is simple: be the first to get rid of all your cards.

Gameplay involves matching either the suit or rank of the previously played card. If a player has no matching card, they must draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead.

Special Cards:

• 2: When a 2 is played, the next player must draw two cards. If they also have a 2, they can choose to play it (forcing the next player to draw four), or draw two and keep their 2. This continues until a player without a 2 draws the accumulated cards.

• 7: Playing a 7 allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next player's card.

• 10: The player who plays a 10 gets an extra turn. If the 10 is their last card, they must draw a card.

• 12: (3 or 4 player games only) Playing a 12 skips the next player's turn.

The game concludes when a player plays their last card (with special rules for 2s and 10s as the final card), and that player is declared the winner.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

• 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
• 10 Espadas (Syouf)
• 10 Oros (D'hab)
• 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
