Allah says in the Quran:

"And establish prayer for My remembrance." (20:14)

"Indeed, successful are the believers; who are humbly submissive in their prayer." (23:1-2)

"...and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater..." (29:45)

These verses show that prayer helps us remember Allah, promotes humility, and deters immorality. But do we truly understand what we're saying during prayer? Often, our minds wander to work, family, or daily concerns. How much humility do we truly show before the Almighty? Countless Muslims perform five daily prayers, yet still engage in un-Islamic actions (like riba, lying, insults, gossip, etc.). Why?
