This app offers a modern twist on crosswords: Scanwords! Our second Sloword app is now available. Access it directly from the initial Scanword screen (by clicking the image) or through the "Settings - Other applications" section.

Scanwords, particularly in Russian, are a unique global phenomenon. Nowhere else will you find such a wealth of literary, humorous, and culturally relevant questions cleverly integrated into crossword puzzles. This reflects the Russian people's deep appreciation for language.

The app features a diverse range of scanwords—from easy to challenging—incorporating photos and question styles like "one word" or "one word, two words." Each page features a character from our fun cast. Join us!

All scanwords are free. The app provides an annual collection: 52-53 issues, each with 20 scanwords. The entire year's content occupies approximately 50MB due to small image sizes and efficient text storage. We prioritize your phone's storage space.

No internet connection is needed once the scanwords are downloaded. New issues are released every Friday at 12:00 local time (with optional weekly notifications). New issues download automatically upon app launch. Individual magazines can be downloaded or deleted as needed, or all magazines can be downloaded at once via "Settings."

The app's core features, including access to all scanwords, are free, supported by advertising. Each page displays a single, unobtrusive banner ad, and a non-intrusive interstitial ad appears before each scanword. The advertiser also provides free hints in exchange for watching videos.

Users can opt to: a) disable ads permanently; b) purchase a subscription to remove ads and unlock unlimited hints; or c) collect hints in bulk. These options are detailed in the "Shop" section.

Privacy Policy:

We use the standard Android advertising identifier solely for ad placement and performance analysis. Personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers (like SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI) are only linked to this identifier with your explicit consent.
