World of Warcraft: The War Within's narrative continues beyond the Siren Isle update. Season 2, anticipated for later in 2025, promises new endgame content and the next chapter. But before then, Patch 11.0.7 introduces quests crucial to Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine, and a poignant conclusion to Dalaran's destruction.

Updated January 7, 2025: The recently added campaign quests mark a significant turning point. Dalaran's fate, after years in Warcraft lore, is sealed in The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides a fitting farewell to this iconic location, pivotal in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Accessing the Patch 11.1 Prologue: Lingering Shadows

Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required, but recommended for context. The questline includes:

Unlocking the Dalaran Epilogue

Initially gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now available (as of January 7th). However, you must complete both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).

Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests begin). Khadgar's presence confirms eligibility. If he's absent, unfinished campaign quests remain. The Dalaran Epilogue quests are:
