World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Missing Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still acquire the coveted Detective title and pursue the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC for the Guest Relations mystery questline.

Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, has been moved to Dornogal, specifically to the hot springs area northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, near the Foundation Hall. Alyx now holds the title of "Volunteer Event Coordinator, Among Other Things," and their helpful clue board remains intact, guiding players to locate 11 missing Celebration Crates scattered throughout Azeroth.

Obtaining the Detective Title:

1. Locate Alyx: Travel to Dornogal and find Alyx near the hot springs between the Delver's Headquarters and the Foundation Hall stairs.
2. Gather the Crates: Examine Alyx's board for clues leading to the 11 missing Celebration Crates. Note that players must be at least level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests, but level 68 is required to access Dornogal.
3. Claim Your Rewards: Return the crates to Alyx. Six crates unlock the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, while all 11 grant "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and the crucial Detective title. The Detective title is the key to unlocking the Incognitro mount questline.

Post-Event Accessibility:

While the main Guest Relations questline is unavailable, the relocation of Alyx ensures the Detective title and subsequent mount quest remain accessible indefinitely. This prevents players from being locked out of obtaining the Incognitro Felcycle. However, achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager," "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats," and their associated transmog rewards are now unobtainable. Blizzard has not indicated plans to reinstate these specific quests.
