Since 2018, World of Warcraft has rewarded players with bonus in-game incentives for committing to six or more months of subscription. These rewards, which often refresh in January and July, align with the lunar Zodiac signs. For instance, the 2024 Year of the Wood Dragon brought the Auspicious Arborwyrm.

The first six-month subscription offer for 2025 includes the Timbered Sky Snake, a flying mount for retail WoW, symbolizing the Year of the Wood Snake, and the Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Cataclysm Classic. These can be obtained by purchasing a six-month World of Warcraft subscription. Alternatively, they are available for individual purchase in the in-game store at $25 for the mount and $10 for the pet. Note that the Timbered Sky Snakelet for modern WoW is available separately through the Battle.net shop for $10, but it is not part of the subscription offer.
