The newly released footage, shown at NVIDIA's 2025 CES keynote, offers a glimpse into the game's visual style. While not actual gameplay, the in-engine demonstration showcases a visually polished combat sequence featuring Akira, the franchise's iconic character, in updated attire. The meticulously choreographed fight suggests a cinematic approach, more akin to a martial arts film than a typical fighting game recording. This new direction, coupled with recent releases from other major fighting game franchises, positions the 2020s as a golden age for the genre.
