Marvel SNAP's initial Spotlight Cache card for 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing character enhancing cards generated within your hand. While often considered a core card for card-generation decks, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two effective deck builds for Victoria Hand, one for each archetype, enabling adaptation to the current SNAP meta.

Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards for added buffs or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo provides crucial protection.
- Devil Dinosaur is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with numerous generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or those changing sides. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
Successful Victoria Hand deck play hinges on these points:
- Energy Management: Balance card generation and energy expenditure. A full hand maximizes Devil Dinosaur's potential, but you also need space for card generation and Victoria's effect. Efficient energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping turns to maintain a full hand is prioritized over filling the board.
- Strategic Deception: Utilize unexpected card plays to confuse opponents and mask your strategy.
- Ongoing Lane Protection: Opponents often target the Victoria Hand lane with tech cards. Counter this by playing Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and protecting them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand

Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull effectively counters Victoria Hand. His synergy with Doctor Doom 2099 decks makes him a strong tech card against both Victoria Hand and Doom 2099 lineups.
Other counters include Shadow King (removes buffs from one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can disrupt power distribution in a critical lane.
Is Victoria Hand a Valuable Acquisition?
Victoria Hand is a worthwhile investment, whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or Tokens. Her consistent buffs facilitate strong deck building, and her effectiveness in multiple archetypes makes her a valuable asset for many players.
