In the open-world gacha RPG Infinity Nikki, the titular character is isekai'd by a magical dress, granting access to Ability Outfits. These outfits are crucial for exploring Miraland, purifying Dark Essence and Esselings, and interacting with the game world.

Ability Outfits are unlocked via Sketches, requiring either crafting or gacha pulls. Each ability has a basic version unlockable via the Heart of Infinity skill tree, but premium outfits are exclusively obtained through Resonance Banners (the gacha system). Currently, 17 Ability Outfits exist.

Unlocking Ability Outfits:

1. Floating Outfit

• Function: Briefly float after a jump.

• Activation: Long tap jump, then tap again.

• Unlock:

  • Bubbly Voyage: Obtained in the "Prologue: Embark on an Unknown Journey" mission (1 Whimstar). Can be crafted using 8 Lampchili and 26 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bubbly Voyage: Spring (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

  • Blooming Dreams: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Blooming Fantasy" Resonance Banner (December 5-18, 2024). Cannot be obtained outside this banner. Evolves into Blooming Dreams: Tides and Glow (using Heartshine from Deep Echoes banner) and Blooming Dreams: Phoenix (requires duplicates).

2. Purification Outfit

• Function: Purifies Dark Essence and Esselings.

• Activation: Click or tap to attack.

• Unlock:

  • Wind of Purity: Obtained in the "Prologue: Embark On an Unknown Journey" mission (2 Whimstars). Can be crafted using 2 Buttoncone, 2 Daisy, 26 Thread of Purity, and 3 Woolfruit. Evolves into Wind of Purity: Dawn (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

  • Crystal Poems: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Crystal Poems: Snow and Spring (using Heartshine from Deep Echoes banner) and Crystal Poems: Blazing (requires duplicates).

3. Animal Grooming Outfit

• Function: Groom animals for materials.

• Activation: Approach animal, press ability button.

• Unlock:

  • Bye-Bye Dust: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Land of Wishes quest (2 Whimstars). Can be crafted using 4 Daisy and 24 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bye-Bye Dust: Kitty (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

  • Breezy Tea Time: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Breezy Tea Time: Siesta (requires duplicates).

4. Fishing Outfit

• Function: Fish in bodies of water.

• Activation: Find bubbling spot, tap ability button, reel in when bell chimes, pull against fish's direction.

• Unlock:

  • Rippling Serenity: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Unexplained Coma Incidents quest (2 Whimstars). Can be crafted using 5 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, and 72 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Rippling Serenity: Dream (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

  • Shark Mirage: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Shark Mirage: Summer (requires duplicates).

5. Bug Catching Outfit

• Function: Catch bugs and insects.

• Activation: Approach insect, tap ability button.

• Unlock:

  • Afternoon Shine: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Accident at the Clothing Store quest (2 Whimstars). Gather 2 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Starlit Plum, and 30 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Afternoon Shine: Rain (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

6. Electrician Outfit

• Function: Fix electrical problems (solve grid puzzle).

• Activation: Stand near device, tap ability button, solve puzzle.

• Unlock:

  • Fully Charged: Obtained during Chapter 1’s Power Outage Rescue quest (2 Whimstars). Gather 4 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, 148 Thread of Purity, and 9000 Bling. Evolves into Fully Charged: Refreshing (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

7. Floral Gliding Outfit

• Function: Glide from high places.
• Activation: Jump from high point, tap ability button, follow currents.
• Unlock:
  • Floral Memory: Obtained during Chapter 3’s Wish Collector’s Crisis quest (1 Whimstar and 10,000 Bling). 8. Violinist Outfit

• Function: Play music (tap notes).
• Activation: Tap ability button, follow on-screen notes.
• Unlock:
  • Symphony of Strings: Obtained during Chapter 4’s Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted quest (2 Wishstars). Gather 2.0kg Kerchief Fish, 4 Pearly Shell, 330 Thread of Purity, and 27,500 Bling. Evolves into Symphony of Strings: Woods (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

9. Shrinking Outfit

• Function: Shrink and ride Momo.
• Activation: Tap ability button to shrink and pilot Momo.
• Unlock:
  • Starlet Burst: Obtained during Chapter 6’s Encounter in the Woods quest (2 Whimstars). Gather 1 Elastic Gel, 4 Lampbloom, 4 Starlit Plum, 600 Thread of Purity, and 48,000 Bling. Evolves into Starlet Burst: Glow (requires duplicates and crafting materials).

10. Whimsicality Outfit

• Function: Paint graffiti.

• Activation: Tap ability button to perform idle animation.

Stylish Outfits:

Stylish Outfits are purely cosmetic, obtained via Sketches from Kilo the Cadenceborn (exchanging Dews of Inspiration). They do not provide new abilities. They can be used for overworld traversal.
