The Feybreak DLC significantly expanded this, introducing numerous crafting materials, including the valuable Dark Fragments. Essential for crafting high-tier accessories, Dark Fragments are a Feybreak-exclusive resource.

How to Obtain Dark Fragments in Palworld

To acquire Dark Fragments, hunt Dark-elemental Pals exclusively found on Feybreak Island. This doesn't apply to Dark-elemental Pals in other game areas. Coastal Pals are often ground or water types; venture inland to locate Dark-elemental Pals. Note that some, like Starryon, are primarily nocturnal unless encountered as boss variants.

Defeating or capturing these Pals (Ultimate or Exotic Spheres recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments on average. Drops aren't guaranteed, but diligent hunting will provide sufficient quantities.
