Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, a central control center for the Assassin's Creed franchise, promises streamlined access to the series' vast library. Launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, the Hub acts as a central launchpad for games like Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
This approach mirrors the strategies used by Battlefield and Call of Duty. Through Animus Hub, players can seamlessly jump between different Assassin's Creed titles. The Hub also introduces unique "Anomalies," special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows, rewarding players with cosmetic items and in-game currency for purchasing outfits and weapons.
Beyond game launching, Animus Hub provides extra content. Players can delve into journals and notes detailing the franchise's modern-day storyline, enriching their understanding of the overarching narrative and connections between games.
Assassin's Creed Shadows itself transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the world of samurai conflicts and intrigue. The game is set to launch on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
