After months of speculation and teasers, Activision has officially released the debut trailer for the much-anticipated remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. The project is being developed by Iron Galaxy, succeeding Vicarious Visions, the team behind the successful THPS 1+2. Fans can look forward to enhanced graphics, the introduction of online multiplayer, and new playable characters such as Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The trailer highlights beloved locations like Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all revitalized with cutting-edge technology. A side-by-side graphic comparison in the trailer showcases the remarkable improvements over the original versions.
The game will feature legendary skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen. Notably, Bam Margera will not be part of the lineup. Those opting for the Digital Deluxe edition will enjoy exclusive characters such as Doom Slayer and Revenant. Adding to the nostalgic feel, the developers have committed to including parts of the original soundtrack, with tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY.
The remastered versions of these iconic games are set to launch on July 11, available across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-order customers will gain access to a demo in June and enjoy early access to the full game three days ahead of the official release date.
