How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

Getting around Azeroth on a stylish mount is half the fun in World of Warcraft, and the Stormcrow, Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, is one of the most coveted. This isn't the first raven mount, but its Siren Isle origins make it truly special. This majestic mount is tied to a weather event on Siren Isle, part of the War Within expansion. This event, known as a Storm, unfolds in multiple phases. To claim Thrayir, you'll need to navigate Siren Isle during these storms, collecting five Runekeys. Here's how to obtain this incredible flying mount:

How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

• The Whirling Runekey: This key drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn found in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault during a Storm.

• The Torrential Runekey: Collect seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.

• The Thunderous Runekey: Gather five Thunderous Fragments from any chest on Siren Isle—these chests aren't restricted to Storm areas.

• The Cyclonic Runekey: This can be obtained by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm or as a possible drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.

• The Turbulent Runekey: Find three Turbulent Fragments in specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

  • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
  • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone (the ghost is cowering inside).
  • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave (the ghost offers the fragment).

Once you've collected all five Runekeys, head back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but only during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering during any other phase won't trigger the ritual. Inside the Vault, go to the eastern room.

You'll find Thrayir's body on a platform with five runestones. Insert the corresponding Runekeys into the slots to begin the quest, "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest, and your new mount will be added to your inventory!
