Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This event seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This crossover event offers a unique blend of history, romance, and mystery, immersing players in the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card is inspired by Dunhuang's cultural elements, showcasing apsaras, murals, and the pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves.

• Unique Card Stories: Each card ("In the Footsteps of Silk," "Serenade of the Soul," "Reverberation Through Time," and "Void of Creation") presents a distinct narrative, enhanced by Private Messages offering a deeper exploration of this thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A central gameplay mechanic involves uncovering rewards by flipping cells on a game board. The grand prize is the choice of one of the four Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round, with the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard awarded for flipping 100 cells.
